Where facade projects go wrong
By the time anyone can see the problem, the cheap fix has gone
New build: the facade is fixed in outline, goes into planning, and the problems surface later.
Many cannot be solved without going back to planning – so they are not, and the client inherits the risk for the life of the building.
Existing buildings: scope set without evidence either replaces what could have been repaired, or grows once the scaffold is up.
We front-load the work. Evidence and specification first, while decisions are still cheap.
