Bailey Partnership Attends Neurodiversity Conference to Promote Inclusive Workplaces

Kel Chiong

As part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, Bailey Partnership was proud to attend a Neurodiversity conference, where discussions focused on how employers can embrace neurodiversity and create equal workplaces. Representing Bailey Partnership at the event was Megan Rawlings from our HR team, who found the conference invaluable to her HR role in understanding how businesses can better support neurodivergent employees.

The event featured several insightful speakers from organisations including Plymouth City Council, Babcock, Unite the Union, City College Plymouth, and Eat That Frog. A particularly inspiring moment came from Dan Smith, a representative for Unite the Union, who shared his personal experiences as a neurodivergent employee. He spoke passionately about how his workplace, Babcock, supports his needs, setting an example for other organisations looking to create a more inclusive work environment.

Bailey Partnership remains committed to learning and implementing best practices to ensure all employees feel valued and supported. This conference provided key insights to help us continue that journey and further enhance our already strong EDI processes and procedures.
